By 2023, the flame for unity had become very small. A new energy, dynamism and strategy was needed. This initial analysis and effort eventually brought forth the movement, GCU (Global Community for Unity).
After October Global RDS in Tiljila, with alienated Kalikata WTs, the first meeting for the movement which came to be known as GCU (Global Committee for Unity) took place.
August: The initial online attendance of 150 WTs and Margiis from eight sectors.
September 7: The second online attendance of 200 WTs and Margiis.
Large processions demanded one AMPS and one DMS. Around 1,000 Mrgiis and WTs participated in the rally on December 31 (Kolkata), and 300 participated on January 1 (Ranchi).
The global meeting took place in Bhubaneswar on March 8th and 9th. Margis and WTs from various states of the Delhi Sector and other sectors attended in person and online.
Invitations was sent to Ananda Marga community, Kalikata and Ranchi administrations. A request to use Ranchi’s PROUT Bhavan. Similarly, a request to use Kalikata’s Farmhouse..
The It was a wonderful retreat in December 13 to 15 with all the groups and admins present, who engaged in conversations, delivered talks, and conducted workshops.
